Johanna oversees our donor staff, and develops and implements our donor training program. Through her direction, the donor program raises millions of dollars to support the organizations in The Public Interest Network. In her prior positions, she led the campaign to ban smoking in all Maryland workplaces and helped build the support necessary to pass the EmPOWER Maryland Act, which set a goal of reducing the state’s per capita electricity use by 15 percent. Johanna resides in Amherst, Mass., with her family, where she enjoys gardening and staying in shape for competitive ultimate Frisbee.
